Benchrest Shooting | Sentinel-X 10-40x50 SFP Long-Range Rifle Scope (SCOL-34)

I pulled out a Remington 541 from my safe that I had bought from the CMP 20 years ago for $250 or so and never shot. It came with just iron sights and no scope mounting holes. Well age 73, scopes are a good choice. I had it drilled for scope mounts($60) and added scope rail. I looked at what I might get for a scope and came upon the Sentinel -X at what looked like a too good price but read some reviews. Considering the price of similar offering were WAY out of my wallet, I ordered one up.
Well I found the reviews I had read were true! it is a great scope and way better than the price would lead you to believe. I recommended it on a 22 bench rest group I belong to and a couple guys took a chance and were similarly pleased.
If you want to get into 22lr bench rest shooting and can't afford to spend double the price of your entry gun on a scope, the sentinel-X will get you into the game and competitive for the cost of a brick of match ammo.
When that lotto ticket hits, you can buy a scope to impress your fellow shooters with the price, but your not going to be buying any more points for your $1000 over what this scope gets you.

This is not a hyper expensive scope. I've no experience with those, I use scopes in this class. This one, fair to say, is tops in its class. At max mag I can get a sharp image at 150 yards, and the brightness at max mag is better than my fixed power 40X made by a direct competitor to Vector. It is sharp enough for the benchrest 'green monster' target, and that's why I bought it. Works for me! Works very well for me.

Am very impressed by the good quality of this scope.
Reticle is clear and the sight picture is very good through all stages of magnification.
Mounted it on a AR15 and when weather allows will take it to the range.
I know without actually performing a live fire a review can be suspect but I don't expect any issues.
Will update if I do.

Very nice scope, clear optics

I had a problem getting it to zero, had to mod it to get it to zero. After that it was a super cool 😎 scope, the glass is so clear and crisp 👌🏾. Super smooth clicks and zoom.

Great value, for my squirrel shooter!

I’ve used my Arken, & Vortex scopes primarily for bench rest shooting, however wanted something with more magnification than the 25x that I got with them.
This scope for the money really performs quite well! I’m very happy with it and will continue to use it for my BR shooting. I ordered the throw lever and parallax ring. I’d love to have seen a sunshade as an option for this scope too.

I do not shoot competition benchrest, but do enjoy shooting 50yd targets. I did not want to spend more on a scope than my rifle (Avenge X). I came across some Utube videos giving this scope very good reviews, so I thought I would try one. It does have very fine crosshairs, and as advertised is most suited for benchrest, but I am very happy with it and perfect for my shooting without spending a fortune.

For the delivered price this benchrest scope is a good value. I have used it on an Anschutz 1761 Match 22lr to shoot at 25 yards and 50 yards. The eyebox is tight and that is my primary con. The glass is OK for the price. If money were not a factor, I would have moved up in glass quality.

It functions properly but has an internal defect in the glass that I didn't notice till l had it mounted to the rifle and was setting up the parallax.lt messes with my vision in a benchrest match.Do not get me wrong l love the model and the locking turrets, how did it get by your final inspection? I will continue to use it, I have never sent anything back,so l will have to keep it.

just received my vector 10-40x50. for the price it is very good. i am replacing a $700.00 scope. With the vector, i shoot 22rm bench rest 50-100 yards. good glass, dot is small, returns to 0.

Outstanding price/quality/purpose built scope.
I use this scope the whole way out to 100 yards +
It is exactly what you need for 25 meter shooting but it has excellent glass beyond it's price point. I shoot it @ 50 yards even more than 25 meters.
If you do not need First Focal plane this is an amazing price for such quality .

Me gusto mucho esta mira, cumple con su función, se ve muy nítido y bien centrada es muy precisa. Relación calidad precio muy buena! Sí la recomiendo.

You won't find an air rifle scope with better glass or a more useful reticle. And, service after the sale is definitely above and beyond. They addressed my issues to the degree that it's clear they want all their customers to be happy. The only reason my five star rating is conditional is that this is not a rimfire or centerfire scope. It's not built for that kind of recoil pulse. But if your need is for a great pellet rifle, airsoft or bb fun target scope or for hunting small game, this is your #1 choice. And the biggest reason overall for five stars is their attention to customer service, so refreshing in this day where that's so rare to find.

Was not sure what I would be getting with a $200 scope, but was pleasantly surprised. The glass is pretty clear and the reticle is great. Big drawback is there in NO ZERO STOP and nothing to indicate when you have gone a full revolution. This means you have to keep up with clicks in your head.

Very pleased with everything overall, for the price.
Does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Glass is very good on a dry clear day & decent when it is humid & cloudy. I love the reticle.
Turrets feel like it’s a $200 scope, but they move correctly & re-zeros just perfect.
You will not find another high magnification scope, this good for the money.

Just got this scope in and was quite surprised at the apparent quality. A 10-40X scope for around $200 is great to find. While I know this is a purpose-built air gun scope, designed for shooting at 25 meters, I plan on using it for another firearm. The scope is installed on my CZ-457 Jaguar .22LR. This CZ has a 28' barrel - I intend to see how well it can shoot at 200 and 300 yards.

All that being said, the Vector is a 5-Star item as delivered. I will update this post after I have shot with it. In that manner, interested potentials buyers will have a broader view of its capabilities.

I received my scope and I am very impressed with the fast service from China. Communication was good throughout the process. Excellent product and the installation was easy without any trouble. The view is crisp and clear. I am absolutely happy with it and can strongly recommend this product when attached to the rifle it was intended for. Many thanks!
