AR-15 | Paragon 4x24 MPVO Prism Scope (SCPS-M04) | Small Game Hunting

I discovered Vector Optics several years ago when I made my first purchase of the original S6 from their budget lineup under the branding of Victoptics. The YouTuber, 704 Tactical, had featured this scope and it really hit the sweet spot of quality at a nominal price. To this day, I regret having sold that scope!

This 4x Paragon prism has been on my radar when I finally had the perfect build to match it up with…16” 5.56 that is ultra light weight. I needed something light, compact, but with clear enough glass to make contact with steel targets out to 500 plus yards.

This Paragon really satisfies that itch…could not be happier as I really never envision putting an LPVO on this build as to keep it light and maneuverable.

The reticle is etched and crisp. No batteries, not a problem. You can easily make out your targets with or without illumination.

I also appreciate how Vector keeps their customer’s interest with varying codes and discounts that help people get the most value from their purchase.

If you are on the fence with this purchase, I think it’s a small risk and frankly I don’t ever really see reviews of this product (or most of their other products for that matter) that are critical where someone is outright dissatisfied. Customer service for me thus far is excellent in the few times I’ve reached out for support

These are good looking, they have a nice finish and good machining. The glass is good as well. The price is right too.

For the price the glass quality is pretty good, and it competes with the PA microprisms. The stock mount isnt the best, and it sits a little too far forward on a standard AR-15 rail for my liking, but its a standard t1/t2 mount so its easy enough to change.

The Vector Paragon 4x is perfect. I like it better than the Vortex 3x or 5x. It really hits the sweet spot between magnification, eye box, and field of view. The reticle is much more visible than a 3x, and the eye box is much better than a 5x. The glass and reticle are very clear, and they include a killflash. Also, it's not big or heavy. I like it so much I now own three. When mounting either these or the Vortex prisms(both use T1/T2 footprint) on an AR platform, you may need Vector's 'RUM Cantilever Picatinny Riser Mount' or 'Maverick Cantilever Picatinny Riser Mount'.
