The glass is really clear, even at higher magnification. The controls feel smooth, and it didnt take me long to get everything set up.
Excellent quality! Haven't installed it yet, but very impressed.
The build quality of this scope is impressive right out of the box. Clear glass, crisp adjustments, and very solid construction. I haven't mounted it on my setup yet, but judging by the overall quality, I have no doubt it will perform great. Highly recommended!
The image quality is better than I expected from something this compact. The glass looks sharp, and the 4-16x range gives you plenty of flexibility without adding a huge scope to your setup.
I've been looking for something that wouldn't make my PCP setup feel top-heavy. The shorter body is a big plus, and having side focus down to 10 yards makes this an interesting option for closer target work.
I’ve been using it for target practice and general shooting, and it has been very reliable. The magnification, focus adjustment and overall build quality are all impressive for the price.
Very sharp, clean image for precise shot placement!
The thing I loved about the Veyron Series from Vector Optics was how compact and light they were. This new GENII is bulkier and heavier than the last generation Veyron. The overall length of the GENII is the same, but there is definitely some added mass and weight. The turrets are bigger and thicker in diameter and size. The ocular lens is also larger in diameter compared to the last gen Veyron. I would expect the larger diameter lens would make the image quality better, sharper, clearer, after all Vector claims that the GENII has upgraded LaREE HD Glass. You do get a slightly wider field of view which makes the edges clear, but the image quality is exactly the same as the last generation Veyron. Not brighter, not clearer, not HD but exactly the same. I own both scopes and compared them extensively. The image quality isn't bad by any means on the GENII it's just not LaREE HD or whatever buzzword Vector is using for this new model. One major issue I have found is that tightening down the front objective lens scope ring (to spec) causes the parallax internals to rub inside the tube. I don't know if the GENII uses a thinner walled scope tube but anything tighter than just snug and you can hear and feel the internals rub as you move the parallax. I am not new to scope mounting by the way, been doing it for over 20 years. Overall I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the Veyron GENII scope. If I wasn't past my return window I would have returned it and ordered the original Veyron which I do love.
The compact scope looks amazing on my air rifle
I liked that the rings came with the scope along with the parallax wheel
scope is clear and bright
