USER REVIEW OF THE VECTOR CONTINENTAL 1-8X24I ED FIBER .338 SFP LPVO

Included in the box with the scope are bikini eyepiece covers and a free mount.

This is a 30mm monotube, weighing 18.7 ounces and measuring 11.41 inches in length
The turrets on this model are mrad with a fiberoptic reticle powered by a CR 2032 battery.

The glass clarity end to end is absolutely superb. There is no chromatic aberration on the edges at any magnification.
The eye box and eye relief is quite acceptable but like any optic of this class it is not completely forgiving relative to the placement of your eye. But situated carefully on your firearm this is not a different issue than any other excellent optic.

The turrets have a nice crisp feel for both windage and elevation, and the focus turret is stiff, smooth, and solid which personally I appreciate.
To my eye I cannot discern any significant parallax.

I truly appreciate the reticle and effective illuminated red dot on an LPVO format.

Just holding this optic you can feel the quality of the manufacturing and it is visually noticeable. The finish and coating were “clean”, it is IP67 rated for waterproof and is fog proof but I did not test for either.

The warranty is lifetime and my personal experience dealing with the company showed me that if there are any hiccups they go above and beyond to value the customer.
They are improving how they interface with their Chinese headquarters but their US base is in Utah and are readily available to the customer. They return phone calls for those times they can’t immediately answer the phone. And frankly this has certainly become important in the new retail environment where this is not standard anymore in my experience.

Truly what is amazing is you would pay twice as much if not more to get an equivalent optic from the other reputable optics manufacturers and I own several of this quality.

At this price point and the included upgrades of a nice mount, one will be compelled to try this as your next optic. Especially when the marketplace begins to understand this company in relation to it's competitors.

The only issue that I have not been able to comment on at this point is longevity and durability, but when you see and feel the optic in person it’s hard to believe that will be an issue.

Waited for some time to pick up this jewel and immediately mounted it on my 223. The glass is excellent and I can’t wait to take it out in the field and test it out on the local varmint population.

I originally left a 1 star review when I received a flawed scope and noted I would update upon the response from Vector. It appears that review has been removed. I will say they responded quickly and sent me a new scope, the second one is perfect. I’m docking one star only because of having to rehash the original issue. I will definitely buy more Vector products. This scope has excellent glass, the illumination is fantastic and the eye box is the best I’ve ever seen on a 1-8 lpvo, and in fact it’s better than many 1-6 lpvos. Look at the C_Does review on YouTube, you won’t be disappointed with this optic.

If you haven't looked through one of these Continentals, just know that the glass is excellent.
Definitely a step up above the PA SLX scopes. The glass in their scopes don't come close to the clarity and sharpness of the Continental line.

I wanted a lpvo that can be used as a red dot. This scope is very good at low and high range and is probably the best that can do it all under 18oz. Good scope to add to my collection

Out of all my other lvpo scopes I really like this one.clarity is real good at low light but it's the reticle I truly enjoy. The scope see more action in the evening and when it becomes dark I clip on my thermal in front of it and to me that's when it really shines

This scope offers excellent value. The glass remains crystal clear across all magnifications, and the reticle is bright and easy to see, with a fiber-dot that's truly red-dot bright. It's built like a tank, holding zero flawlessly. Tracking was perfect dead on. I'd recommend this LPVO to anyone seeking the best, regardless of budget. It outperforms many top-tier optics. There's very little fisheye, and the eye box is very forgiving, making it a joy to use. You're getting the performance of a $1500 optic for way less. An Amazing LPVO. Truly a hidden gem, the best value, regardless of budget.

The Vector Conty 1-8 SFP achieves glass clarity comparable to the Vortex HD Gen II 1-6: extremely impressive edge to edge clarity, magnification range, etc.

Highly impressed with the unit and the brightness is perfectly workable during daylight shooting. I'd love to see them take on a compact 4-16 or FFP 1-8 optic with a standard mil-tree.
