SCRD-83 Frenzy Red Dot Sight User Manual
Review
“The third positive aspect of this mounting style is that the optics sit very low, meaning you get the added safety of seeing the iron sights through the red dot, so if the optic ever fails, you’ll still have sight to fall back on.”
—— Frenzy FA 1x16x24 Red Dot Sight (SCRD-83) Review by Jani Nordman
The first thing I noticed was how clear the glass looks. The 3MOA dot is bright enough even on sunny days and the larger window helps keep the sight picture open. Tracking the dot during quick shooting feels very natural.
Mounted this optic recently and installation was very straightforward. The direct‑mount design made the whole process quick with no extra plates needed. The dot is crisp and easy to track when moving between targets, and the window size gives a nice clear view.
One thing I really like is the side battery tray. Being able to swap the battery without removing the optic is a huge plus. The motion sensor feature is also convenient because it automatically wakes up when the gun moves.
