I picked up this optic because I needed something on top of my 308 for close range purposes. Came with all the hardware that I needed. Took it out to the range and was able to sight it in very quickly. I needed something enclosed and that had a solar backup and I''m glad I picked this. The optic has held up so far with over 100 rounds of 308.. checked after 60 or so and still held zero.. I think I may get another for one of my hand pews.. solid option.
I recently picked up the newer Frenzy and compared it to this model. This one is slightly smaller window closer in size to the original ACRO which I really like for a more compact setup. The multi-reticle feature is a big win, giving great flexibility depending on preference and use. The solar option is also a nice bonus and adds extra peace of mind. Overall, I’m very happy with it.
Absolute "must have". i do not see any improvement compare to ACRO C2 for 1/3 price. Clear glass, 1x no zoom, Solid housing. Vector optics well done, appreciate your craft.
This sight is extremely tough and robust. The glass coatings are effective at preventing glare but there is no excessive hue when looking through the optic. The reticle is very crisp and clear and it is nice to have different options to choose from, though I have found over the years that I prefer a simple red dot for a non magnified optic. The controls are easy to manage and intuitive. Battery changes are simple. Y'all this things works without a battery with just ambient light indoors! Function on a Glock-19 MOS was flawless with the hot +P+ 124gr carry ammo I use. I had no issues with cheap 115gr target ammo though but maybe a malfunction is possible with a longer, heavier slide and weak ammo. Use good ammo for real work and you will be fine. Mounting on an AR was what made this thing really shine. It looks cool too. If you want an enclosed red dot you won't go wrong with this option. I love it.
Great！！
This looks like it can take some beating but I just got it so it's too early for a thumbs up.
Good item! Thanks!
Is there any riser for it? Say 1.5 inch riser.
