Shooters today don’t stick to just one setup. You might run a carbine today, a PCC tomorrow, and switch optics in between. That’s exactly where the VAS™ (Versatile Adaptability Solution) Series comes in—a fully modular system that keeps things simple while giving you maximum freedom.
No matter how your gear evolves, VAS™ helps you keep a clean, consistent, and future-proof setup without the usual hassle.
1. Start with a Modular System That Adapts to You
The VAS™ Series is built as a complete system made up of 10 components, all designed to work together seamlessly.

(VAS™ Series Modular Components)
Mounts
VAS™ Red Dot Sight Picatinny Low Mount (SCRA-75)
VAS™ Red Dot Sight Picatinny Medium Riser Mount (SCRA-76)
VAS™ Red Dot Sight Picatinny High Riser Mount (SCRA-77)
Footprint Adapters
VAS™ GIN Footprint Adapter (SCRA-GIN1)
VAS™ MGT Footprint Adapter (SCRA-MGT1)
VAS™ MOJ Footprint Adapter (SCRA-MOJ1)
VAS™ VOD Footprint Adapter (SCRA-VOD1)
VAS™ RUM Footprint Adapter (SCRA-RUM1)
Utility Accessories
VAS™ 45° Offset Red Dot Adapter (SCRA-SM7)
VAS™ Quick Release Lever Kit (SCRA-QD7)
This system is built around three core layers:
-
Mount height options
-
Footprint compatibility
-
Setup expansion tools
Together, they form a true plug-and-play ecosystem that works with almost any red dot, rifle platform, or shooting style. Each part has a clear purpose—no overlap, no wasted design, no limitations locking you in.
Behind it all is the X-MOD (X-Accu Modular Interface) platform. This shared interface uses a standardized hole pattern across mounts and accessories, making it compatible with red dot sights, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and more.

The result? A unified system that keeps everything consistent today—and easy to upgrade tomorrow.
2. Choose the Right Mount Height for Your Shooting Style
Once your system is in place, the next step is dialing in your shooting comfort.
VAS™ offers three center-height options—low, medium, and high—so you can match your natural cheek weld while keeping a stable and familiar sight picture.
If you want to better understand how cheek weld height affects red dot mounting, check out our guide to mounting a red dot on a rifle. We also explain common height standards like absolute co-witness and lower 1/3 co-witness in a dedicated guide.

(Three Center-Height Mount Options)
-
1.5" / 38 mm (Low)
-
1.93" / 49 mm (Medium)
-
2.26" / 57 mm (High)
These height references are based on the Frenzy FLEX 1x24x29 (SCRD-76), and most red dots align very closely with them, ensuring consistent positioning across different optics.
Each mount is built with a dual-screw Picatinny clamp, helping spread recoil forces evenly across the rail. This improves durability and keeps your zero stable, even during extended use.

(Dual-Screw Picatinny Clamp Design)
-
LOW Mount (SCRA-75): Best for traditional setups and prone shooting
-
MEDIUM Mount (SCRA-76): A go-to for dynamic shooting, keeping your head more upright
-
HIGH Mount (SCRA-77): Ideal for helmets, gas masks, or night vision, and faster target pickup
(Three Kinds of Center Heights)
All mounts can be installed forward or reversed depending on your rail space and preference. Especially for AR platforms, this means better ergonomics and a more natural shooting position.
Made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a solid Picatinny base, every mount is built tough—and fully integrated with the X-MOD system.
3. Match Your Optic with the Right Footprint Adapter
After setting your height, it’s time to make sure your optic fits perfectly.
The VAS™ Series includes five footprint adapters, covering most mainstream red dot standards:
VAS™ GIN Footprint Adapter (SCRA-GIN1)
VAS™ MGT Footprint Adapter (SCRA-MGT1)
VAS™ MOJ Footprint Adapter (SCRA-MOJ1)
VAS™ VOD Footprint Adapter (SCRA-VOD1)
VAS™ RUM Footprint Adapter (SCRA-RUM1)
(Multi-Footprint Adapter Compatibility)
Installation is simple: attach the adapter, mount your optic, tighten it down—done.
The design keeps added height to a minimum while maintaining a solid lockup through the X-MOD interface, ensuring consistent performance under recoil.
This “one system, multiple footprints” approach is perfect if you like switching optics or testing different setups. No need to rebuild from scratch every time. Our footprint guide explains the naming system and the most widely used standards if you’re not sure what your optic uses.
4. Expand Your Setup with Practical Accessories
Once your core setup is ready, VAS™ lets you take it further with add-ons.
VAS™ 45° Offset Red Dot Adapter (SCRA-SM7)
(VAS™ 45° Offset Red Dot Adapter)
Add a secondary red dot at a 45° angle for instant transitions. Just tilt the rifle and you’re on your backup sight—fast and intuitive.
It also supports footprint adapters, so you can run your preferred optic without compatibility issues.
VAS™ Quick Release Lever Kit (SCRA-QD7)
(VAS™ Quick Release Lever Kit)
Swap or remove your optic in seconds—no tools needed.
Perfect for shooters running multiple setups, sharing rifles, or needing quick changes in the field.
5. Build, Switch, and Upgrade Without Limits
Traditional setups often mean compromise—fixed mounts, limited compatibility, or awkward height choices.
VAS™ changes that.
Instead of adapting to your gear, your gear adapts to you. Build exactly what you need, switch components anytime, and upgrade without starting over.

Powered by the X-MOD modular system, VAS™ keeps your red dot setup clean, flexible, and ready for whatever comes next.
