The 5C40x range is great for long-range shooting. I can find the target easily at lower power and zoom in when I need more detail.
This is my first Vector and I can compete w it! I’m going to use Vector optics on all my “serious” rifles..
scope works well wish it came with flip up caps but overall nice scope
I've always loved using vector scopes, and as much as I like bend dress scopes, I usually don't go for them. Solely, because I don't do any bend dress shooting. But I do pests removal alta, two hundred yards. So I wanted to give this one a try.Especially with how small the center dot is, and the large magnification range. Needless to say, I love this scope, at 40oz with the rings I have, it's well balanced and using the higher magnification even down to 20-25yds is comfortable. At 240yds the center dot is literally under .4' in diameter,I can look at the animals I'm pesting in detail. You could easily shoot this at 1000yds and be able to take very accurate shots. I only wish it had a larger range of elevation adjustment, thay being said, I have found .yself needing it!
Took a chance on this instead of another brand ''__ken'' that I have 3 of. Wish I would have purchased this prior to the others. Very happy with performance and value. A solid budget pick. Will not be my last.
