Review
"I really like the app that comes with the WiFi version, where you get a live view of the optic on your phone screen. You can change settings from the app, but the optic comes with a touch screen as well, so you get to make changes quickly, also straight from the screen."

"The Owlset RSS08 packs a ton of features into a small thermal package and in my opinion is a great starting point and absolutely a force-multiplier that everyone should have in their equipment and if you're looking at the Infitac Mini line this unit is a welcome addition to the space."

Want thermal vision without bulky gear? See how the Owlset HEIM ES X-Nano brings lightweight thermal detection to pistols and AR platforms, helping you spot heat signatures faster in dark and low-visibility environments.
The touchscreen is very responsive and the reticles with different colors help personalize your view. The real-time thermal imaging makes it easy to find wildlife or objects even in total darkness.
Setup was painless and this mini thermal delivered right out of the box. The compact size and weight make it ideal for quick detach / reattach, and the heat detection is surprisingly responsive. Whether I’m scanning brush or tracking movement in the dark, this little sight holds its own.
This tiny thermal sight surprised me! I can scan close objects easily and spot heat sources fast at night. The Wi-Fi feature lets me stream video to my phone
Absolutely love how lightweight this thermal unit is — it doesn’t throw off balance on my rifle. The hotspot tracking works incredibly well, automatically highlighting the hottest targets in the field. Battery life lasts long enough for extended sessions and the touchscreen display makes menu navigation super easy even in the dark.
Works well
Cool product!! Time will tell on longevity. Shipped quickly. I would say 50-75 yards would be max on shooting range. Deer size animals I could make out at 200 yards. Nice it comes with 3 batteries and charger. Will be going on my 10/22 for pest control.
